Glensheiling is a country Resort set in the midst of the meander. At Glensheiling we have 24 large, spacious sites for tents, caravans and motorhomes. We also have self catering caravans available.
Our ablutions are immaculate with hot and cold water and washing up facilities.
Braai facilities are on some of the sites and communal braai area situated at the boma near the dam. We have a little “shoppie” in the resort where firewood, braai packs, ice and basic necessities are available.
Kids have an absolute ball on the trampoline, jungle gym, adventurous foofy slide, even building forts in our pine forest. Or beat the parents at a game of croquet.!
We have boats and a raft on our stocked trout dam and swimming for the brave hearted.
Glensheiling boasts peace, quiet and tranquility. There are beautiful walks through the indigenous bush and forests with breathtaking views and abundant bird life. A lot of our indigenous trees are named. You may even spot a few historical sites: a hideout wall used in the boer war and evidence in the stream where Zulus used to sharpen their spears.
Our nocturnal animals are abundant in our natural bush – buck, bush-pig, porcupine and once a leopard was spotted! So how about a night walk??
