One of Namibia’s finest experiences is visiting the famous Dunes of Sossusvlei, Sesriem canyon, Naukluft Mountains and Spreedtshoogte Pass. Solitaire Guest Farm Desert Ranch is the perfect location from which to base your day trips and excursions to these destinations or to simply relax for few days. The Farm is situated at the foot of the rugged Rand Mountains with a breath taking view over the vast Namib Desert and beautiful Naukluft Mountains. The Solitaire Guest Farm Desert Ranch is a cosy privately owned guest farm and opened its doors in 2004 by co-owners Walter and Simone Swarts. It truly is the Diamond of the Namib Desert and guaranteed to be a highlight of any traveller’s Namibian Experience.
Facilities:
Our Authentic Africa themed en-suite rooms are located in the original 1950’s farm house. We offer single, double and family rooms. All rooms have air-conditioners and offer complementary amenities.
Our three large campsites offer modern ablution facilities, each with own “braai” area and electricity.
We have not one but two swimming pools available for all guest to enjoy.
Lapa / Dining Room.
Delicious dinners and breakfasts are served up every morning and evening at our elegant dining room underneath a traditionally thatched lapa.
Our Bar is also fully stocked with a variety of beverages to quench any thirst.
