Welcome to the Dragon Peaks Mountain Resort webpage. Our family owned, 1000 acre wilderness estate is set in the shadow of Cathkin Peak and Champagne Castle, part of the rugged Drakensberg mountains of Kwa-Zulu Natal, South Africa. Purchased in 1955, our grounds border the prestigeous Ukhahlamba World Heritage Site, renown for both its geographic and cultural significance.

Forty-five years since its birth, Dragon Peaks remains one of the few family run resorts in the Drakensberg, and has developed to offer a wide range of accomodation options from our four star Caravan and Camping sites to our three star equivalent, luxury thatch cottages.
