Shamvura Camp, on the Okavango River, in one of the few remaining forested areas, between Rundu (Namibia) and Shakawe (Botswana). Well located it has a panoramic view of the floodplains formed by the confluence of the Cuito and Okavango Rivers.
We strive to give personalised service to guests and offer both self catering and home cooked meals. We have a privatised bar, swimming pool and viewing deck with DSTV in the main lounge. We provide comfortable fully equipped cabin tented accommodation, a tree top cottage and variable camping, with electricity. A range of activities are offered, including specialised birding walks, fishing/birding boat trips and guided game park visits. Anyone who is a nature lover, keen birder or enthusiastic angler will enjoy what we have to offer.
