After working as a museum taxidermist for nearly 20 years, Gerrit started Wings & Fins Taxidermy as a specialized service to all anglers and bird hunters.
He works from a facility in Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape South Africa within easy access to a major airport and harbour.
The workshop is state veterinarian approved for export and complies with all municipal and state laws. Gerrit is a qualified sculptor and artist and every mount is done by the artist himself, including bases and all artwork. Quality work is ensured with careful and meticulous attention to all detail.
Gerrit also does educational work for various institutes and museums.
