At one stage some years ago they were the leading sellers of prime European optical equipment in our Country. Due to circumstances beyond their control and because fierce international competition, their domination of the market waned. However, the good news is that they have returned to the market and are eager to regain their foothold.
Zeiss now has a 10 year warranty on all optical products and five years on electronics. It is not staggered as is the case with some other manufactures where the customer has to pay a portion of the repair after five years. It is a full ten year warranty in which all material and manufacturing defects are covered. Zeiss products are also backed up by a dedicated team in South Africa to assist customers with any queries they may have. After all, there motto is “We are only a phone call away”.
